Counseling
Counseling offers a supportive space to explore thoughts, emotions, and life experiences while developing practical tools for growth and healing. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), clients learn to recognize and say no to irrational, negative, or unhelpful thought patterns that fuel distress. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps clients say yes to what is true, meaningful, and life-giving—learning to live in alignment with values even when life is difficult. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) supports clients in holding the real tensions of life with a balanced both-and approach, building skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships. Together, these approaches help clients develop insight, resilience, and lasting change in a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment.

EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing or traumatic experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming or intrusive in the present. Rather than focusing only on talking, as with traditional counseling, EMDR helps the brain “unstick” memories that were stored during times of distress, allowing them to be integrated in a healthier way. As this happens, emotional intensity decreases, negative beliefs lose their power, and clients often experience greater relief, clarity, and emotional freedom.
EMDR may be provided as part of ongoing counseling at Evergreen, or as a standalone service for individuals who already have a counselor and are seeking EMDR with a trained provider.

IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback

IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that uses very low-level electrical signals to support the brain’s natural ability to regulate and restore itself, helping calm and reset the nervous system to improve overall brain flexibility and resilience.
