About Us
Matthew Howe, MA, LPCC, ICP
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
IASIS Certified Provider
Hello! I recognize that mental health concerns are shaped by a combination of biological, psychological, and social factors. Because of this, I use a holistic and integrative approach to support individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions.
Drawing from my training and education, I utilize a range of evidence-based modalities, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build psychological flexibility and values-driven living
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support trauma healing and adaptive memory processing
IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN) (certified provider) to promote neurological regulation and reduce symptoms at the brain-based level
This integrative toolkit allows me to tailor treatment to each person’s goals, strengths, and needs—no two clients are the same, so no two treatment plans look identical.
In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where your experiences are heard, your identity is respected, and your growth is supported. My goal is to empower you with practical tools, meaningful insight, and a renewed sense of hope, so you can make lasting positive changes and experience greater emotional and relational well-being.
You don’t have to face this alone—support is here, and healing is possible.

IASIS MCN Neurofeedback
A Gentle Approach to Brain Regulation
Many concerns such as anxiety, trauma, depression, or post-concussive symptoms are rooted in a brain that has become stuck in a state of dysregulation. IASIS MCN Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, clinician-guided technology designed to help the brain release these patterns and return to balance.
Unlike traditional neurofeedback that trains the brain, IASIS gently “disentangles” unhealthy brainwave activity, allowing the nervous system to reset and reorganize itself. Many clients notice increased calm, clarity, and emotional regulation within the first few sessions, with changes becoming more lasting over time.
IASIS uses extremely low-level microstimulation and an FDA-registered EEG amplifier, with no reported adverse effects in over 100,000 users worldwide. It integrates especially well with trauma-informed therapy and EMDR, helping clients feel more settled and responsive in the therapeutic process.
IASIS MCN Neurofeedback supports the brain’s ability to regulate and recover. It may be helpful for individuals experiencing:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Trauma and PTSD
Depression and mood instability
Emotional reactivity or overwhelm
Difficulty calming the nervous system
Post-concussive symptoms
Mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
Brain fog or mental fatigue
Focus and concentration difficulties
Sleep disturbances
Heightened fight-flight-freeze responses
Difficulty benefiting from traditional talk therapy
